Nodox Mail is a mail application for Android and iOS. This page describes how it accesses, uses, stores, and shares mailbox data, including data received from Google. The contact address is nodoxia.tech@gmail.com.

Google user data

When you add a Google mailbox, Nodox opens Google's account page. You sign in there. Nodox asks Google for three permissions:

openid and email, to identify the mailbox.
https://mail.google.com/, to read, compose, send, and permanently delete mail in that mailbox.

Nodox uses those permissions only to show and send your mail inside the app. The phone talks to imap.gmail.com and smtp.gmail.com. Nodox does not request Google contacts, calendar, Drive, or advertising permissions.

Nodox Mail's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide the mail features you open in Nodox Mail.
It is not sold and not used for advertising.
People do not read your Google mail through Nodox. A person sees a message only if you show it to them, if you ask for help with that message, if it is required for security, or if the law requires it.
The only transfer of the mailbox is the phone's own connection to Google, so the app can display and send your mail.

What stays on the phone

Nodox has no server that receives copies of your messages. The app stores, on the phone:

The account address, the name you give it, and the server settings.
The Google sign-in token, in the phone's secure store: the Android keystore or the iOS keychain. The mailbox file does not contain that token.
Messages, folders, and attachments you have on the phone, in the app's private files, so the mailbox can open again.

Removing the account in Nodox deletes that account's messages from the phone and deletes the stored token. Uninstalling the app removes the app's files from the phone. You can also withdraw Nodox from the Google account at Google account permissions. Withdrawing access stops new sign-in. It does not by itself delete mail already saved on the phone; removing the account in Nodox does that.

Microsoft and other mailboxes

Hotmail and Outlook can sign in on Microsoft's page. The phone then reaches Microsoft for that mailbox. The sign-in token is kept in the same secure store on the phone.

Exchange and other mailboxes use the password or server settings you enter. The password is kept in the phone's secure store, not in the mailbox file. The phone connects to the server you named.

Contacts or calendars are read only when you turn that on for an account whose server supports it. Google sign-in does not include Google contacts or Google calendar.

Sharing

Nodox does not sell personal information and does not include an advertising or analytics service. Mail moves between the phone and the mail provider you selected. If you write to the contact address above, that message is used to answer you.

Children

Nodox Mail is not made for children, and it does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.

Telefonda kalanlar

İletilerin kopyasını alan bir Nodox sunucusu yoktur. Uygulama telefonda şunları tutar:

Hesap adresini, verdiğiniz adı ve sunucu ayarlarını.
Google oturum belirtecini, telefonun güvenli kasasında: Android anahtar deposu veya iOS anahtar zinciri. Posta dosyasında bu belirteç yoktur.

Hesabı Nodox içinden kaldırmak, o hesabın iletilerini telefondan siler ve kayıtlı belirteci siler. Uygulamayı kaldırmak, uygulamanın dosyalarını telefondan siler. Nodox'un erişimini Google hesabından da Google hesap izinleri sayfasından geri alabilirsiniz. Erişimi geri almak yeni oturumu durdurur. Telefona daha önce inmiş postayı kendiliğinden silmez; bunu Nodox'ta hesabı kaldırmak yapar.

Microsoft ve diğer kutular

Hotmail ve Outlook, Microsoft'un sayfasında oturum açabilir. Telefon, o kutu için Microsoft'a bağlanır. Oturum belirteci yine telefonun güvenli kasasında durur.

Kişiler veya takvim, yalnızca bunu açtığınız ve sunucunun desteklediği hesapta okunur. Google oturumu, Google kişilerini ve Google takvimini kapsamaz.

Paylaşım

Nodox kişisel bilgi satmaz. Reklam veya analiz hizmeti içermez. Posta, telefon ile seçtiğiniz posta sağlayıcısı arasında gider. Yukarıdaki adrese yazarsanız, o yazı size yanıt vermek için kullanılır.

Çocuklar

Nodox Mail çocuklar için yapılmamıştır ve onların bilgisini bilerek toplamaz.
